Apex trade copier for all your Apex Trader Funding accounts

Apex Trader Funding traders often run many accounts at once — several evaluations, a few Performance Accounts, sometimes on both Rithmic and Tradovate. CopyFlock is a cloud Apex trade copier: you trade one Apex account and every fill is copied to the rest, each with its own contract size, symbol mapping and drawdown protection.

It runs on our servers, so you do not need a VPS or an add-on inside NinjaTrader or R|Trader Pro. Connect your Apex accounts once and copying keeps going whether your PC is on or not.

  • Apex accounts on Rithmic (system: Apex) or Tradovate
  • Mix Rithmic and Tradovate Apex accounts in one copy
  • NQ→MNQ and ES→MES with symbol aliases
  • Equity thresholds below each account's drawdown

What an Apex trade copier does for you

With an Apex trade copier you place trades on one lead Apex account and CopyFlock repeats them on your follower accounts as soon as the lead fills. Entries, exits and — if you turn on copy TP/SL — your stop and target orders are all copied, so every account follows the same plan.

Apex offers accounts on more than one platform. CopyFlock supports Apex accounts on Rithmic (choose the Apex system) and on Tradovate (sign in through OAuth). You can mix them: a Rithmic lead can copy to Tradovate followers and the other way round.

You do not have to stay inside Apex either. If you also hold a Topstep account on TopstepX or a Bulenox account on Rithmic, add them as followers of the same lead. See the prop firm trade copier page for cross-firm setups.

How to connect your Apex accounts

Apex accounts on Rithmic

Use the Rithmic username and password Apex sent you, and select Apex as the system — the same details you enter in R|Trader Pro or NinjaTrader's Rithmic connection. You can keep R|Trader Pro open while CopyFlock is connected.

Apex accounts on Tradovate

Choose Tradovate when adding the account and sign in on Tradovate's page. CopyFlock never sees your Tradovate password.

  1. Step 1: Start the free trial

Sign up and start the 7-day free trial on 2 accounts (card required).

  2. Step 2: Connect the lead Apex account

Usually the account you most want to trade by hand — often your most advanced evaluation or a Performance Account.

  3. Step 3: Connect the followers

Add the rest of your Apex accounts, on Rithmic or Tradovate.

  4. Step 4: Set sizing per follower

A contract multiplier of 1 works for same-size accounts. Use symbol aliases to put some accounts on micros.

  5. Step 5: Add protection

Set an equity minimum on each follower just above its drawdown level, and an optional maximum at the profit target.

  6. Step 6: Test and go

Place a one-contract test trade and check the copy log before you trade full size.

Sizing example: one Apex 50K lead, five followers, minis to micros

A common Apex setup is one 50K lead copied to five more accounts, with one or two of them on micros to reduce risk. One MNQ is one tenth of an NQ contract.

Lead (Apex 50K evaluation, Rithmic) buys 1 NQ
Evaluations #2, #3 and #4 — multiplier 1
1 NQ each
Performance Account — alias NQ→MNQ ×5
1 × 5 = 5 MNQ (half the lead's exposure)
Tradovate evaluation — alias NQ→MNQ ×10
1 × 10 = 10 MNQ (same exposure as the lead)

There is no automatic mini-to-micro conversion: you set the alias and its multiplier once per follower and it applies to every trade. Add a per-symbol maximum (for example 10 MNQ) so a bigger lead trade can never push a follower past its contract limit. Our NQ to MNQ guide covers this in depth.

Features Apex traders rely on

  • Account protection on balance or equity — flattens and pauses the follower when a threshold is hit.
  • Per-symbol contract caps — keep each account inside its contract limit for minis and micros separately.
  • Copy TP/SL and block trades without TP/SL — every follower carries a stop.
  • Position resync — re-align an account after you closed or adjusted it by hand.
  • Pause/resume and close all — take one account out of the copy or flatten everything quickly.
  • Copy delay and symbol whitelist/blacklist — control when and what is copied.
  • Live dashboard — balance, equity and P&L for every Apex account on one screen, plus copy logs.

Apex rules and honest limitations

  • Check Apex's current rules. Apex has allowed traders to use trade copiers on their own accounts, but rules, account limits and payout conditions change. Read the latest version in Apex's help center before you copy. CopyFlock is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apex Trader Funding.
  • Avoid opposite positions across accounts. Many firms treat long-on-one, short-on-another as hedging. Do not use reverse trades between Apex accounts unless you are certain it is allowed.
  • Trailing drawdowns move; thresholds don't. Account protection levels are fixed numbers. Review them as your trailing drawdown rises.
  • Fills can differ. Followers fill after the lead, so prices can differ slightly in fast markets.
  • Supported connections only. Apex accounts on Rithmic and Tradovate are supported. If your Apex account uses a different connection, contact support before subscribing.

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions? Read the full FAQ or email support.

Does Apex allow trade copiers?

Apex has allowed traders to copy trades across their own accounts, but rules change. Check Apex's current help center articles before you start. CopyFlock is independent and not endorsed by Apex.

Can I copy Apex Rithmic accounts to Apex Tradovate accounts?

Yes. Connect each account with its own platform and add them to the same copy. CopyFlock copies futures across Rithmic and Tradovate in either direction.

Which Rithmic system do I choose for Apex?

Choose the Apex system, and use the Rithmic username and password Apex gave you.

Can my Apex followers trade micros while I trade minis?

Yes. Add a symbol alias such as NQ→MNQ on the follower and set its multiplier — ×10 for the same exposure, or less to reduce it.

Will CopyFlock stop an account before it fails?

If you set an equity or balance minimum, CopyFlock flattens and pauses the follower when it is reached. It is a safety net you configure, not a guarantee; set it with a buffer above your drawdown level.

How much does it cost to copy 10 Apex accounts?

Ten accounts cost 10 × $8 = $80 per month, or $800 per year on yearly billing. See pricing.
